Blake Shelton Wife Miranda Lambert Cancels Show; Voice Coach Saves Man? [NEWS]

It looks like Miranda Lambert's vocal inflammation got the best of her earlier this week when Blake Shelton's talented wife was forced to cancel her show at the Calgary Stampede. According to the latest gossip news updates, Carrie Underwood's "Something Bad" singing partner is doing her best to get better as soon as possible and plans to make the concert date up just as soon as her touring schedule and health permits. In a related story, The Voice coach was able to come through for one, now, very devoted fan, who recently founded himself stranded and in danger thanks to Tropical Storm Bill and the raising flood waters that it brought with it to rural Oklahoma. Shelton not only helped Roho Hartman get to safety, he even rescued the man's truck.

In a terrible turn of events for her Canadian fans, Miranda Lambert was forced to cancel her concert last Thursday night at the Calgary Stampede due to problems with her vocal cords.

On her official website, Lambert not only apologized for the events that were beyond her control but also promised that she would be back to do whatever goes on at the Calgary Stampede just as soon as she was ready, willing and able:

"I am so sorry that I can't be at Stampede this week, but I'll be back in Calgary just as soon as I can for all of my Stampede fans."

Thankfully for Ardmore, Oklahoma resident, Roho Hartman, Blake Shelton was feeling very up to the task, when his neighbor recently found himself in some desperate need of help last month.

Hartman recalled how he was is quite a pinch with his truck dead and the flood water's rising thanks to Tropical Storm Bill, when Shelton showed up like a knight in shining armor.

Hartman told one NBC affiliate that he was doing his best to puch his truck up a hill in a torrential downpour, when the Voice coach showed up a dropped him a much needed life line:

"The guy said 'Are you ready? I thought ... that looks like Blake Shelton.' That's exactly what I thought, and I said, 'Yeah! I'm ready!'"

Not only did Blake happily tow Roho's truck to the top of the hill, when asked if he might be able to drop the soaking wet stranger off at his house, the country music star replied without hesitation:

"I said, 'Hey, could you give me a ride home?' He said, 'Where do you live?' I said, 'Just right over yonder.'

"My wife called me. I said, 'You wouldn't believe it, Blake Shelton pulled me out. And he's going to go on and bring me on home!'

"I said, 'You better slick up, we'll be there in just a minute.'"

Hopefully Miranda Lambert will soon feel as able-bodied as her selfless superhero husband.
