Having released a most resounding interpretation of a Hannah Montana Suite, the duo that comprise Migos has released yet another video featuring the rappers backed by an orchestra. This time, the duo perform a rendition of "Handsome and Wealthy" in a recently surfaced video.
Earlier this month, the now-duo (the third member is currently serving jail time) released a video of their group Migos performing with an orchestra their version of the "cute" theme to Hannah Montana. The video was a big success.
With their forthcoming album, Yung Rich Nation, set to debut on Friday (July 31), the band has been promoting the disc with a series of YouTube videos. While they have been well received the musicians have been facing a backlash in light of a "scripted" documentary released by Noisey.
Earlier in the year, VICE's Noisey released a 10-art series entitled Noisey Atlanta, which explored the inner city's drug game and rap scene. In the second episode entitled Meet the Migos, viewers saw what appeared to be the groups suburban mansion in Stockbridge, Georgia.
Members of their entourage toted guns and the three members — Quavo, Takeoff and Offset — discussed the gunfights and ensuing brawls that required the trio to be on their guard at all times.
But, in an interview on ESPN's Highly Questionable, the remaining members expressed that everything that was "documented" was actually intentionally scripted.
"It was role playing," coined Takeoff, "That wasn't our house in the first place."
Even Quavo said to All Hip Hop, "We acted it out. They gave us a script...I played it well 'cause ya'll think it was real."
Whatever the case may be, the band has since found themselves in a scant with the law when they were arrested at Georgia Southern University in April on charges of guns and drugs (which led to the incarceration of their third member, Offset).
Hoping the law pans out for these artists, nonetheless, their latest performance is certainly not one to miss and can be viewed below.
