The winning numbers for this weekend’s $90 million lottery jackpot are: 27, 29, 34, 41, 44, PB 02.
One of the lucky winners of the recent half-a-billion jackpot is in a bit of trouble. Marie Holmes, the North Carolina mother of four, who claimed $188 million , was recently cited for possession of marijuana.
According to WWAYTV3, authories went to Holmes home to arrest Lamarr McDow for violating the terms of his bond on a prior charge. While at the home cops found marijuana and a gun, cited all the adults with possession of half ounce or less.
Following her big win, the offical Powerball website reported on her big win.
“A single mother from a small town in Coastal North Carolina has come forward to claim her $188 million Powerball prize, making her the largest jackpot winner in state history.
“Until recently, Marie Holmes of Shallotte supported her four children by working jobs at Wal-Mart, Food Lion, KFC, McDonald’s and Subway. The 26-year-old’s life changed forever when her Powerball ticket matched all six numbers in the Feb. 11 drawing, winning her a third of the $564 million jackpot.
The offical Powerball lottery website is warning players to play responbily, writing:
