George Clooney has made just about as big a deal about not having children with his new wife, Amal Alamuddin, as he was about never getting in the first place, but the supermarket tabloids just aren't buying it. According to the latest gossip news updates, Batman and his bride are hoping to get pregnant during their upcoming vacation on Lake Como, Italy. Word has it that the couple are still unable to move into their new home in England, however, due to some of their neighbors protesting one or two or their proposed renovations.
Before he met Amal Alamuddin, perhaps, George Clooney really was deadset on remaining a single bachelor with no dependents for the rest of his days, but since falling in love with the 37-year-old London lawyer, obviously, a few things have changed.
One source in the latest August 3, issue of Star magazine claims that all it took was a little free time in Italy along with a few words from Amal, to get Clooney on board the baby bandwagon.
According to the informant, now that the happy couple are headed to their super-luxe villa on Lake Como for nearly a month of R&R, they should have a little baby on their hands in no time:
"Amal's convinced him they should have at least one child.
"Amal's hoping there three long weeks in Italy will do the trick."
The family friend that OK! Magazine spoke to this week also agreed that the biggest reason they haven't already started gotten pregnant yet has been due to timing:
"They're always working in different parts of the world, so they haven't been able to make it a priority until now."
It might be a lot easier for the Clooney's to spend their rainy afternoons together if they could ever get the renovations on their home in Oxfordshire finished, but once again their new English neighbors have been protesting the measures George and Amal have been trying to take to ensure their safety.
After first forcing the couple to move one of their privacy fences, the Eye and Dunsden Parish Council are now issuing an objection over the placement of the home's security cameras.
A local paper their in Oxfordshire, The Henley Standard, points out the members of the council seem to take issue with the unsightly nature of the posts that the camera's would be situated on along with the 360 degree view the cameras would have not only of the Clooney's property but the homes surrounding it as well:
"[The] wide range [of the cameras] represents a potential infringement of the privacy of neighboring properties."
Let's hope that George and Amal can soon come to an agreement with the town that will keep any and all babies they might one day have as safe as humaily possible while at their new home.
