Despite the fact that they still aren't officially even dating, Mission Impossible action star, Tom Cruise, is said to have wife number four all lined up. According to the latest gossip news updates, Katie Holmes ex-husband is all set to marry his new personal assistant/girlfriend, Emily Thomas. Despite the fact that they divorced almost a decade-and-a-half ago, Nicole Kidman says her only real regret is that she and Risky Business actor didn't have at least twice as many kids before they split up.
They might not even officially be a couple, but word has it that it is just a matter of time before Tom Cruise tries to put an engagement ring on Emily Thomas' wedding finger.
One source in the latest August 3, issue of OK! Magazine, claims that Cruise is so head-over-heels for his new girlfriend that it would probably take an act of Xenu to keep him proposing at this point:
"Tom is totally smitten with Emily...He adores her.
"No matter how long the workday is, they're always laughing and having fun.
"Tom has made it clear that to his team that he wants Emily to work with him on all projects...no one who knows him would be surprised if he proposed!"
According to the insider that Star magazine supposedly spoke to, Tom is even starting to make wedding plans that will hopefully include all his children in the festivities (via GossipCop):
"Tom should love for [Suri] to be the flower girl.
"Of course, Isabella and Connor would find it strange for their dad to marry someone close to their ages.
"But ultimately, they love him and want him to be happy."
Although Cruise appears to have clearly moved on since his divorce from Nicole Kidman in 2001, the Hollywood icon recently revealed to Vogue that she still thinks about what their marriage would have been like if things had been different.
Although Tom and Nicole were fortunate to adopt both Isabella and Conner while they were married, Kidman told the magazine that she often wonders what it would have been like to have even more kids with the world's most famous Scientologist (via TooFab):
"I wish I could have met him much earlier and had way more children with him. But I didn't.
"I mean, if I could have had two more children with him, that would have been just glorious.
"But as Keith says, 'The wanting mind, Nicole. Shut it down.'"
