A recent episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County pulled at the heartstrings of many when it showed Vicki Gunvalson receiving a phone call notifying her of her mother's death. Vicki has gone on record, telling Andy Cohen that she didn’t mind having the moment shared with the world. However, Vicki’s co-star Tamra Judge was not so sure. Judge recently admitted that she thought Bravo should have stopped filming during the heartbreaking moment.
Vicki Gunvalson’s co-star Tamra Judge recently sat down with ETonline, where she opened up about the tear jerking moment:
"In the eight years that I've been on the show, [I've] never experienced anything like that. There was a time when I thought, 'OK, cameras need to go down now.' Like, this is too personal. This is too horrible. This is painful."
However, Vicki Gunvalson is at peace with Bravo airing the heartbreaking moment, telling Andy Cohen in a pretaped interview on Watch What Happens Live (via Us Weekly):
"It's part of my reality. I lost my mother. I signed up for all areas of my life to be exposed -- the good and the bad. There's been a lot of great moments that have been aired and there's a lot of moments that I wish I wasn't on a reality show. This is not a moment that I feel, as of right now, that I regret, because statistically people are going to lose their parents, right? We're going to be alive when our parents die, statistically don't blame Bravo, I don't blame [RHOC's production company] Evolution, I don't blame anybody -- it's my life."
