In the first time since their genitals were displayed far and wide all over the internet last summer, Detroit Tigers' pitcher Justin Verlander, is willing to publicly acknowledge that The Fappening happened, but he still doesn't really want to talk about. According to the latest gossip news updates, the pro-baseball player did at least mention the scandal briefly in one recent interview -- noting how important it was to have Kate Upton, the real target of the infamous hack, by his side during that trying time. Meanwhile, Sports Illustrated's most popular bikini clad "Cat Daddy" dancer hasn't been quite as closed off about discussing the traumatic experience, but did reveal that she would have completely abandoned social media forever were she not contractually obligated to keep all her accounts up and running.
Sure, Justin Verlander doesn't mind talking about his fast ball, his barn full of exotic supercars or even his awe inspiring supermodel girlfriend, Kate Upton, but The Fappening is still pretty much a no go.
During a recent interview with Forbes magazine, Verlander explained that he still doesn't really discuss that dark chapter of his life -- only mentioning how important I was to have Upton by his side following the leak:
"Obviously it was tough. I still don't talk about what happened.
"I grinded through it...Kate's there a lot for me."
For her part, Kate isn't quite so tight lipped out the criminal attack -- telling the UK's Standard that she strongly considered removing herself from the social media limelight at together shortly following inappropriate hack:
"It's an invasion of my privacy and it's not OK. It's illegal.
"People don't have a right to look at those photos or to judge them.
"I fantasize about deleting my social media accounts. But I can't."
Let's hope that whomever is responsible for The Happening will be brought to justice soon, so Kate Upton and all the rest of the world's A-list supermodels and actresses can go back to sending as many nude selfies as their heart's desire, before it's too late.
