Spoiler Alert. The Xbox 360 is dying. Yes it had a nice long run but it is time for us all the embrace the age of the Xbox One. However, Microsoft isn’t demanding that we all just give up our 360 collection and start selling out the big bucks for remastered HD remakes of our all our favorite games. It was recently announced that the Xbox One was gaining backwards compatibility for a variety of titles. A total of 21 games have been released for preview members with over 100 planned by the end of the year and hundreds more to come for all Xbox One owners.
Not only will gamers be able to play a variety of 360 games that already own on the Xbox One, but Games with Gold titles will also be made available as well.
The official Xbox.com XWire blog offers the following list of titles that are curently backwards compatible:
