Tonight is a big night for fans of The Disney Channel. First Ross Lynch and Maia Mitchell get a visit from their fictitious friends from Wet Side Story in Teen Beach Movie 2. Following the debut of the new Disney Channel movie is the premiere episode of the all new series, Best Friends Whenever. The new show stars Landry Bender (Disney XD’s Crash & Bernstein) and Lauren Taylor as time traveling best friends. Check out the report below for a look at the new series.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s premiere episode of Best Friends Whenever, titled “A Time to Travel,” reads:
“Best friends Shelby and Cyd become unstuck in time when a science experiment goes wrong. In the opener, the teens try to correct a mishap that spoiled Shelby's plans to ask her crush Cameron to the school dance.”
