Former NBA Star Dennis Rodman Supports Caitlyn Jenner, Would Date Her

Dennis Rodman is no stranger to controversy. During his playing time in the NBA, Rodman was known for dying his hair all sorts of colors and wearing dresses in public. While on the court for teams like the Detroit Pistons and the Chicago Bulls, Rodman became a star defensive rebounder, multiple champion and eventually a Hall of Famer. The recent announcement of being a transgender woman from Caitlyn Jenner has brought media attention to herself and the community. Rodman has been one of many celebrities to support Jenner's decision and has also hinted he would go on a date her if she was interested.

The Huffington Post tells of about Rodman's admiration for Jenner and the way the general public has been accepting of her:

"I'm so proud of the fact that people are not really coming down hard on him where he can't walk around and show his face. That's the most important thing. Life has its evil way of screwing with people, but now since people are so open today, man, you know what bro, knock yourself out brother."

Rodman knows that the timing for Jenner has been everything. The Celebrity Café has a comment from Rodman explaining how shocking it was for a celebrity to be cross dressing in public just a couple decades ago:

"He recalled his own Sports Illustrated cover in 1995, saying he had to convince the magazine's publishers to let him wear women's clothing. He said if Jenner had come out as a woman then, he would've had his 'a-handed to him.'"

Rodman seemed interested in getting to know Jenner with his final comment:

"Bruce, knock yourself out brother. If you want to go out on a date with me, well ask me out."
