Apparently an EXO fan in the Philippines wasn't aware that EXO's biggest enemy isn't Big Bang, but SM Entertainment. An EXO fan in the Philippines wrote a bomb threat on Twitter against Big Bang. No, he wasn't a music critic. The fan was just mad at Big Bang for releasing an album the same week as EXO.
AllKPop said in an article that the Filipino concert organizers were taking action against the purported threat. Big Bang's Made concert tour will take place in Manila on July 30. Fans on Twitter were concerned that the threat would make organizers cancel the event, but there has been no word either way.
Kpopstarz reached out to concert organizers and YG Entertainment, Big Bang's management company, but did not get a comment from either one. Twitter deleted the tweet by the twit, but fans of both bands are condemning the idea and preaching common sense.
All this lead to an investigation which caused the Twit to step forward and apologize to everyone, especially concert promoters. The fan, a woman (yes, it is truly a new world.), left multiple posts asking for forgiveness and even posed a picture expressing her love for both bands EXO and Big Bang.
Interestingly enough, there are actually a portion of internet users that are defending the fan, saying that she was being stupid and realized her mistake. They continued on, saying there is no need to hate her, she has learned her lessons.
Hopefully, this will be a lesson to both sets of fans that both bands can co-exist with each other peacefully, without threats of violence. The world is better with both Big Bang and EXO.
Tell us what you think. Should the fan be forgiven if she realized her mistake?
