It is a good time to be Bella Thorne. The former Disney Channel Shake it Up star has been keeping busy with a series of projects, including penning a book (Autumn Falls), and a new film (The Duff). She has even found herself as the subject of some dating rumors, with Teen Beach Movie 2’s Ross Lynch, which only helps cement her status as one of the hottest up and comers today. Now, Thorne is starring in the MTV adaptation of Scream. Recently Thorne opened up about the new series, after the reveal of the new Ghostface mask.
Bella Thorne recently spoke to People’s Choice at the MTV Upfronts where she opened up about what makes the new Scream series standout from the original franchise:
“Ours is very different. We took the best parts of [the original] and we’re reinventing it our own generation and that’s what’s so cool -- that’s what’s so interesting.”
Recently, MTV revealed the all new Ghostface mask via Entertainment Weekly:
Original Scream director and new show producer Wes Craven recently opened up to Entertainment Weekly about new mask:
“The new mask is cool and scary and takes the series into a new direction. It also ties into the story, which I won’t give away.”
