Now that Rumer Willis has won her very own season of Dancing with the Stars, word has it that her mother, Demi Moore would like the chance to step to the plate. According to the latest gossip news updates, Bruce Willis' G.I. Jane ex-wife is not only hoping to join the next 2015 season, the Striptease dancer also wants Val Chmerkovskiy as her pro-partner -- just like her daughter. While Demi is still said to be dating longtime boyfriend Sean Friday, she's also reportedly been spending a lot of time here lately hanging out with Pirates of the Caribbean elf, Orlando Bloom, and some folks are starting to worry if Miranda Kerr's son won't soon have a new stepmom.
If you are wonder what in the hell a celebrity that once enjoyed as high a profile as Demi Moore would be doing ever considering a stint on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, you wouldn't be the only one.
One source claiming to be in the know reveals in the June 22, issue of Star Magazine, that her own daughter and Season 20 champion, Rumer Willis, is perplexed by the news that the former Charlie's Angels baddie would want to join a reality TV dance competition (via HollywoodLife):
"Rumer doesn't get why her mom, who's already an A-list star, needs to try to outshine her."
"It's a little annoying for Rumer...but this is the first project she's seen her mom get excited about in years, and she wants her to be happy."
Word has it that isn't the only new thing that Demi seems to be super interested in these days -- Miss Moore is said to often be seen going to yoga class with Lord of the Rings actor, Orlando Bloom.
A mutual friend claims that if Demi and Orlando keep carrying on outside of class, however, Sean Friday might soon be looking for another Hollywood sugar mama to support his music career (via Inquisitr):
"They are both deeply spiritual characters who love yoga, meditation and new age philosophies.
"They've both been initiated into spiritual practice Usui Reiki and have started to practice on each other.
"At this stage it's a casual thing, nothing serious and it's not yet exclusive. But they've enjoyed several low-key dates together and the potential is definitely there for something steadier."
Although Rumer may not get her mother's reason's for supposedly wanting to join Dancing with the Stars any more than she does her taste in men, she did explain in Glamour Magazine that competing on the TV show was the best ego boost she's received in years if not all her life (via MSN):
"When you conquer something you didn't think you could do, energy and confidence radiate out of you, and that's more beautiful than if you were skinny or had the perfect face.
"It's difficult, but the moment you stop saying, 'I'm really fat,' or 'I'm ugly,' and just say, 'Wow, I have this,' then you'll see a change."
See...now, why wouldn't 52-year-old Demi Moore something like that in her life?
