It's been weeks since the Part 3 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion aired, but NeNe Leakes Season 7 cast ally Porsha Williams still finds herself trying to defend the Glee stars actions in 2015. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Dish Nation DJ hopes that the rest of Atlanta ladies have a little bit more sympathy for her friend now that they know the circumstances of her tragic past. The only problem with all that is that NeNe's own sister, Kendele, reportedly claims that everything Leakes said about their mother and father at the Season 7 finale recap was a 100 percent untrue.
After years of playing the villain on Braov's Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe Leakes reminded the rest of the reality TV cast that she didn't exactly have the easiest childhood at this year's reunion -- claiming that her mother abandoned her and her father never wanted her.
During a recent interview with OK! Magazine, Porsha Williams, who has been standing up for Leakes for years, explained that she hoped the rest of the cast might be a little more understanding in the future:
"Yes, I feel like a couple of the women who had such horrible things to say about NeNe the whole season have changed their ways.
"It won't be easy, but I am hopeful that we all start to empathize with each other more."
Sadly, it's now being reported that NeNe Leakes own sister, Kendele, is publicly contradicting her Season 7 reunion sob story.
According to the Inquisitr, Kendele reached out to Kenya Moore tp specially let her know that she need not feel bad one little bit for NeNe's upbringing:
"No Kenya that's not true you didn't know your mom NeNe did.
"Don't let that bullsh*t fool you."
Immediately following the outburst, however, Leakes husband, Greg, seemingly cleared up any confusion about his wife's being shipped off to Georgia:
"Her mom had five children when she was very young. And she couldn't take care of five kids. And she sent NeNe and her brother to Athens to be raised by her aunt.
"And she raised the other three kids. She has always wondered why she had to be one of the ones sent away. It's bugged her all of her life."
Apparently, Kendele also has a way of explaining that away as well, insisting that it was little NeNe that wanted to abandon her family and move away from all she ever knew or loved all just to join the infamously inadequate Georgia school system:
"NeNe did live in Georgia with my aunt that is true... We could've lived together in New York but my sister asked my mom could she go to school in Georgia. And my mom ok'ed it...My mom would never ship her kids off. Never."
It seems that Kendele is pretty confused about what the word, 'never,' means to say the very least.
