For months it has been rumored by supermarket tabloids and internet gossip mongers alike that George Clooney's wife, Amal Alamuddin, has been not-so-secretly feuding with fellow United Nations alum, Angelina Jolie, but now Danny Ocean is also said to have his own celebrity detractors. According to the latest gossip news updates, Eva Mendes baby daddy, Ryan Gosling, has a real issue with Clooney's onset persona and has gone out of his way in recent years to avoid ever having to work with Brad Pitt's bestie ever again.
While George Clooney has seemingly enjoyed the reputation the world over for being the guy that men want to be and women want to be with, the 54-year-old Hollywood icon apparently isn't everyone's cup of tea after all.
One source claiming to be close to the kerfuffle explains in the June 22, issue of Life & Style that Ryan Gosling decided years ago that if he had his druthers he would be avoiding Clooney for the rest of his career:
"Ryan's dislike for George began when they worked on 2011's Ides of March together.
"Ryan was disgusted with George's antics...He sees himself as a family man -- not a frat boy like George.
"He felt George would talk nonstop about things like friends picking up prostitutes, and vowed that he would never hang out with him."
Sadly, a behind-the-scenes informant in the latest edition on InTouch Weekly insists that Clooney's wife has an ever more contenious relationship with his old friend, Angelina Jolie.
According to their informant, Brad Pitt's better half has absolutely no respect for the international human rights lawyers, despite her impressive resume working for the former head of the United Nations:
"She can't stand Amal Clooney.
"All Amal does is shop for new outfits and follow George around -- all while being photographed.
"Angelina thinks Amal doesn't even come close to her status as a crusader for human rights and war refugees around the world."
While the reports of the Clooneys feuding with their celebrity peers is no doubt absolute nonsense, one has to wonder if George's real-life relationship with Disney isn't going to need a little repair after all the dust settles form his latest box office bomb, Tomorrowland.
The entertainment experts at The Hollywood Reporter are estimating that the Clooney's new movie will be Disney's biggest big-budget flop since it's failed reinterpretation of The Lone Ranger a couple of summers ago:
"The film will lose $120 million to $140 million by the time it finishes its global rollout.
"As of June 8, the film had earned $76.4 million domestically and $93.5 million overseas for a global total of $169.9 million.
"It might not gross much more than $200 million, far from enough to cover Disney's costs."
Well, if things don't work out in Tinsel Town, George can always just follow his wife into international crime fighting -- Amal's sure to need an assistant every now and then.
