Nick Young Engaged to Iggy Azalea, Unsure About Lakers' Future

The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of their worst season since moving to L.A. The team isn't in a rebuilding mode with this upcoming season being Kobe Bryant's last. If the Lakers are going to make a playoff push, Nick Young will need be a key factor after being part of the disastrous 2014-2015 campaign. But after playing through that nightmare season, Young is unsure if he will be involved in the future of the team. With all this professional drama going on Young has decided to settle down. He proposed to Iggy Azalea at his 30th birthday party and is now engaged to the pop star.

Lakers Nation explains Young's uncertainty towards his upcoming season after issues with the Lakers' head coach last year:

"Though Young has said that he and Scott are now on the same page, that hasn't stopped the rumor mill from churning. The Lakers will reportedly entertain offers for Young, and Young himself has said that he is unsure if he will be back with the team next season."

That uncertainty can make any man panic and hope for stability. With the engagement to girlfriend Azalea, Young now has something he can be sure of. A source told E! News all about the excitement surrounding the birthday/proposal celebration for the young couple:

"It was a beautiful celebration for Nick with only his close friends and family. Nick completely surprised Iggy with the proposal. She was shocked and so excited and emotional at the same time. Nick has known for a long time Iggy was the one for him, but he was just waiting on the perfect time to pop the question. They both have gotten very close these past few months and he can't think of anyone else to spend his life with but her. One of the most important things about Iggy is the way she is to his son."

Do you think Young will be a Laker next season and if so, will the Lakers be a better team? What do you think of the engagement of Young and Azalea? We want to hear from you. Tell us your thoughts below.
