Iggy Azalea is one of the world’s current top selling rap artist, as evident of her three wins at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. However, you might be hard pressed if you want to see Azalea perform in person. The “Fancy” rapper recently canceled her Great Escape Tour, with only a handful of festival show dates still remaining. The silver lining for fans is that she has promised the album, complete with supporting tour for 2016.
The tour was already postponed once from April to September on account of Iggy being a “psychopath, as she told 97.1 AMP Radio (via Billboard):
"It is bumped back because I am a psychopath. It is my first arena tour, so it's a big undertaking and I'm doing a lot of the creative direction, which I do for everything. It's tough when it's your first time working on an arena situation. My tour would have been April; we have not started building -- that is not 6 months, that is very tight," she said. "So to get this stage done in time, I would be making a lot of sacrifices and cuts and changes and compromises would have had to be made to get this thing done in time.”
