When you are enjoying the kind of success that Taylor Swift has been lately, it takes little more than your celebrity endorsement to elevate a new artist from obscurity to superstardom, and thankfully the 1989 star isn't shy about throwing out a shout-out. According to the latest gossip news updates, not only did Taylor mentions how much she loves Kelsea Ballerini's new album, Karlie Kloss' bestie invited her to hang out a friend's birthday party to boot. Taylor's bighearted nature doesn't really give Madonna the right to ape the man premise of Swift's recent "Bad Blood" video -- packing it floor to ceiling with cameos form her many famous friends. Word has it that the material girl will be casting her new video with today's pop music royalty, presumably because her friends in the industry are either long retired or dead.
Most people would love to just be personally mentioned in one of Taylor Swift's tweets, but it may have been enough to change country up-and-comer's Kelsea Ballerini's life for the better forever.
Just in time to stir up interest for her new full-length album released a few weeks later, Swift gave Ballerini the kind of shout out on Twitter that is likely to lead to tons free media attention and high tickets sales.
Doing her one even better, Swift then decided to invite Kelsea to join her cadre of super-famous gal pals as well to Abigail Lauren Anderson's birthday party (via NY Post):
"That was the first time I hung out with Taylor...She's awesome.
"We spent a lot of time in the photo booth and, at one point, me, Taylor and Hayley Williams from Paramore were having our own little dance party."
Realizing that Taylor Swift truly has her pulse on the heartbeat of America, Madonna has seemingly decided to just steal her latest idea of a Cannon Ball Run-esqe music video filled with dozens of world famous cameos.
A preliminary lineup is already being passed around the internet, with it looking much more like Taylor Swift's leftovers than a who's who of Madonna's famous friends (via HollywoodLife):
"A few of the stars that will join Madonna in her music video are Miley Cyrus, 22, Rita Ora, 24, Nicki Minaj, 32, Diplo, 36, Katy Perry, 30, and Moschino designer Jeremy Scott, 41."
If Madonna really wants to remain relevant, she should try making friends with the younger generation of artists instead of trying to just ape and molest them for shock value.
