Bravo's Real Housewives of Orange County cast newcomer, Meaghan King Edmonds isn't afraid to ruffle a few feathers going into Season 10 on the iconic series. According to the latest gossip news updates, in addition to becoming fast friends with Tamra Barney Judge, Meaghan clashes with Vicki Gunvalson in the upcoming season to the point of calling out her boyfriend, Brook Ayer's as supposedly lying about having cancer. Edmonds insists both on an off the TV show to know enough about treating cancer to that Ayer's doesn't seem to have any.
Despite coming off as the cast villain in seasons past, Tamra Barney, reports, Real Housewives of Orange County rookie, Meghan King Edmonds, was nothing but nice right out of the gate when she first arrived on the reality TV scene to start taping Season 10 (via RealityTea):
"She and I got close very quickly, and I've had some issues I've been able to confide in her.
"I'm a step mom, and you know, she has kids who...have a step mom too.
"So we come at the situation from different angles and it's nice to be able to kind of bounce these ideas off one another...I love Tamra."
That being said, Meaghan definitely didn't make friends with all the Bravo veterans -- especially having problems with Vicki Gunvalson and her boyfriend Brooks Ayers.
While much has been made of whether or not Edmonds actually calls the validity of Ayer's claims to have cancer into question on the show, Meaghan had no problem explaining point blank in a recent PerezHilton interview that she knows from experience that Brooks is lying about being sick:
"My stepdaughter's mom is dying of cancer currently, so I have a vested interest in cancer and cancer treatments.
"And so, of course, I was interested in what Brooks' treatment plans were and what he was doing...and I really thought I would find an ally.
"And as time goes on, you are going to see that I am not the only one [asking] these questions...but I didn't go into meeting Brooks and Vicki with that idea at all."
It's probably safe to say the Brooks and Vicki didn't expect the cast rookie to shake up their cancer cover story before the Season 10 premiere even aired, but Meaghan explains in the June 15, issue of Star magazine that someone should have warned them, because that's kind of her thing:
"I bring twists and turns the viewers will appreciate...I've always been opinionated.
"Ever since I learned how to talk."
Unfortunately for Vicki and Brooks that seems to apply to her medical opinion as well.
