‘RHOC’ Vicki Gunvalson Blames TV Show after Meghan King Edmonds Joins Cast

While it no secret that quite a few if not virtually all of Bravo's Real Housewives or Orange County cast members over the years have had some body part or other enhanced, reduced, lypo-ed or injected with botulism, one current Season 10 star is actually claiming that getting plastic surgery is practically a requirement to remaining on the TV show. According to the last original cast member to still be on the series, Vicki Gunvalson, often diets and works out to try to stay in TV ready shape, but the 2015 Housewife explains that when that doesn't deliver the results she's looking for she turns to plastic surgery. Good thing that newcomer, Meghan King Edmond, just publicly announced that she loves the A to D boob job she got four years, because it may not be her last.

In a candid interview with People, Vicki Gunvalson recently explained that the Real Housewives of Orange County doesn't require you to get plastic surgery any more than an ice cream parlor begs its teenage employees to get fat -- the one just seems to naturally follow the other:

"Part of the problem with being on TV is you're critical of yourself.

"I want to look as best I can, so if it takes plastic surgery, dieting, working out or whatever, I will do it.

"As you grow older and you want to look your best, you do what you have to do."

That being said, Vicki doesn't want anyone to think that she plans to overdo it -- opting to keep the fillers and Botox to a per need basis for the time being:

"I try to do it very minimally though, I don't want to look like a plastic Barbie doll

"I'm all about trying to look as natural as possible."

Thankfully, Season 10 Orange County rookie Meghan King Edmonds is also a plastic surgery enthusiast, so according to Vicki she just might have what it takes to go the distance in the reality TV racket.

In her own chat with People, Meghan admitted that when she first got her breast enhancement a few years ago, she initially regretted it:

"I initially regretted it for the first couple weeks. I felt really vain, shallow and like I wasted a lot of money.

"I felt like I was going against everything I stood for as far as feminism and owning your own body."

Once the swelling went down and Meghan got her svelte frame in the perfect shape to compliment the bigger new boobs, however, she quickly saw them for the asset that they were:

"Once the pain went away and they settled in, I felt really good about it.

"Especially now, I love it because I got really into fitness when I started dating my husband [former baseball player Jim Edmonds] and I lost a ton of body fat, so I have nothing but an implant anymore."

So there you have it kids -- if you want to be a reality TV star all you have to be willing to do is change everything about yourself permanently through surgery.
