Longtime Real Housewives of Orange County cast member, Tamra Barney Judge claims that Season 9 was so traumatic that it took all of filming Season 10 to get over it. In the new Bravo trailer for the upcoming season, the CUT Fitness co-owner is seen doing everything from getting baptized to running around topless. According to the latest gossip news updates, Tamra's former reality TV show nemesis, Lydia McLaughlin is already trying to take credit for Barney's conversation -- citing her new faith based book as the obvious inspiration for the sanctification.
Thanks to a never-ending custody battle with her ex-husband, Simon Barney, last year coupled with the spotlight of being on reality television, Real Housewives of Orange County star, Tamra Barney Judge, insisted in a recent RealMrHousewife interview that 2014 was one of her hardest years yet:
"Being a mom and taking care of my family. The kids and I were put through the ringer personally and publicly last year. It's taken time to heal from all the pain.
"Being accused of so many horrible things? Personally I was a mess.
"I look back now and I don't even know how I made it through Season 9... I think this season will shed some light on what happened last season."
In a new Season 10 Bravo teaser we see a less stressed Tamra getting baptized, among other things, but even more shocking than anything seen thus far is Lydia McLaughlin's trying to take credit for Judge's new found religiosity.
During a recent char with the Inquisitr, Lydia pointed out the timing of her book's release and Tamra's submersion could not have been a coincidence:
"I just wrote a book, Beyond Orange County, about my faith. Now that Tamra got baptized, I'm wondering if she read my book and got inspired!"
Fellow uber-religious ex-Orange County Housewife, Alexis Bellino also felt the need to weigh in on the sacred ceremony while talking to the Inquisitr -- passive aggressively suggesting that Tamra might not understand what it truly even means to be baptized:
"I cannot believe that, but more power to her. Soul saved.
"That's what matters.
"Let's just hope her actions stay with what a baptism really means."
As for whether or not Alexis would consider returning to the series if the opportunity ever presented itself, she assured the website that she is not nearly as nostalgic for the experience as McLaughlin seems to be:
"I would not. I've moved on."
But not so much of course to call out Barney for not acting the way that she thinks that she should now that she has the lord in her life.
