Yes, everyone's favorite couple seem to be engaged. Maybe? Probably? Possibly? This is a story we've seen in the past, but this time is different, however, in that it's Ranbir Kapoor who is saying he and Katrina Kaif will be tying the knot by the end of 2016.
He told Indian news agency IANS that, since they were both busy all this year, Ranbir making flops and Katrina hating on Deepika Padukone, that the wedding wouldn't take place anytime soon. Thus, both have decided to get hitched by the end of 2016. Suddenly the chatty Kathy, Ranbir, has been making telling everyone who will listen all his plans, including kids.
Hindustan Times quoted Ranbir as saying, "I believe in family. That really is the next stage of happiness in my life. I am going to have three kids. I have always wanted three kids from a very young age, and I've always said that when I become a father, I want three kids."
Ranbir has spent most of the year denying or playing his relation to Katrina as close to the vest as possible, and suddenly he is singing the praises of wedded bliss. Why, you ask?
Apparenly, Ranbir's parents have mandated it. Katrina, deeply engaged in thinking up new ways to hate Deepika, is reportedly amenable to marriage and is happy that Ranbir's parents are interjecting themselves into the situation. Nothing will anger Deepika more than when Katrina marries Ranbir.
No word yet if this is nothing but a fiendish Deepika Padukone plot to undermine the sanctity of marriage in India, like she did with her Vogue: My Choice video.
