While the fans have been constantly questioning the reason that Divergent star Theo James hasn't made Shailene Woodley his girlfriend in real-life, the Underworld action star hasn't been blind to the fact that the Insurgent heroin has certainly blossomed into a woman all her own since starting the franchise. According to the latest gossip news updates, Tris' boyfriend noted that Woodley has "really grown up" since he first met her fresh of the set of the Spectacular Now with Miles Teller. Even Bradley Cooper's ex-girlfriend, Suki Waterhouse, recently explained that when she thinks of inspirational young actresses in Hollywood, no one stands out for her more than the Fault in Our Stars beauty.
It probably wouldn't be safe to start holding your breath in anticipation of the news that Theo James and Shailene Woodley are officially dating just yet, but the Four actor did recently admit that his co-star's blossoming into a young woman before his very eyes has hardly gone unnoticed (via E! News):
"[Shailene] has changed a lot, in a good way. When I very first met her, I was kind of newbie. She had just come from doing Spectacular Now.
"I feel like she has really grown into a woman since then, and it's not actually that long of a period of time.
"It's a couple of years, even less."
That being said, Theo did admit that sometimes his sex scenes with Shai are so awkward that he has a shot or two of liquid courage before taking his clothes off and diving deep down into the scene:
"Sometimes booze helps if it's really hard-core...the most awkward thing is [when] you're shooting and you're doing something, and then something has to be tweaked, so you can't move, but you're right there.
"So you're like, 'What's up?' And you're completely naked, covered in sweat."
While Suki Waterhouse more than likely doesn't get to spend any scenes sweating on top of Shai's naked body, Bradley Cooper's ex-girlfriend did tell Glamour that she is thrilled to death to be working with one of her idols on the new Allegiant films:
"I've been really lucky to keep working with really young and inspiring people, but I think Shailene Woodley.
"I'm constantly inspired by her work ethic and her humility and her sense of calm."
Oh sure...it's easy to feel that way when you don't have to worry about her sweat dripping into your mouth all day
