Ever since Theo James was cast as the Divergent love interest to Veronica Roth's Tris, Shailene Woodley's tween fans have hoped against hope that the Insurgent couple would start dating in real life, but it seems that costar Miles Teller is the real life hero. According to the latest gossip news updates, the Whiplash Oscar nominee and his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry helped rescue a pregnant woman from drowning while recently hanging out on the beach in Miami. Although both Miles and Theo are taken, it seems that Woodley has also found herself a new boyfriend in Hawaiian folk singer Nahko Bear, who she's was recently seen cuddling up with once again.
Shailene Woodley may not have been too impressed with Miles Teller on the set of The Spectacular Now, but that was before he was known far and wide as a bona fide hero.
Just the other day, reports TMZ, Miles and his supermodel girlfriend, Keleigh Sperry sprang into action -- pulling a pregnant woman from the ocean before the riptide claimed the life of her and her unborn child:
"Teller and GF Keleigh Sperry's romantic beach day was interrupted when an extremely pregnant woman began screaming for help just offshore...without hesitation the two darted into action and tag-teamed a rescue effort that saved the woman's life.
"The two made double sure the woman was alright and then parted ways."
While Miles seems like a better than average catch, even for a Hollywood up-and-comer like Shailene Woodley, the Insurgent star is said to be dating Hawaiian folk singer, Nahko Bear, after she was seen once again getting cozying with her supposed boyfriend while filming Snowden with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the island paradise.
During an interview with Elle magazine back in April, Shai revealed that it doesn't matter if her lovers are famous heroes or working-class schlubs just as long as they are true to themselves and allow her to live the same way (via KPopStarz):
"When you're truly in love, for me, it's...you're my lighthouse!
"You're somebody who holds me high, keeps me safe, you've got my fuckin' back...You also love me whole, wild, and free.
"You let me do me, and I'm going to let you do you! And I'll be the home that you return to."
Yeah...well, Miles Teller doesn't have time for all that jazz; he's too busy getting out there and saving lives to worry about holding some millionaire high every night.
