WWE Feud: Bashes CM Punk, Will Star Return to Wrestling Ring?

CM Punk doesn't even compete for World Wrestling Entertainment anymore, but that hasn't stopped either side from having a little fun at each other's expense. The WWE is acting like petty high schoolers though, with a shot attempting to mock Punk's name, while Punk recently tempted fans with a teased possible return to the ring.

CM Punk switched over to the UFC and has begun his training to become a mixed martial artist since leaving the WWE. Even though that happened over a year ago, the WWE seems to have not let it go with their immature attempt to sully his name when fans search for his merchandise at the WWE store. Results when searching for CM Punk bring up, "Did you mean: CM Junk."

Hilarious guys. As What Culture puts it, this seems like an odd way for a company to conduct itself after a former employee did so much for them:

"The irony is that CM Punk was once the biggest star of WWE Shop. His merchandise sold like crazy and he even managed to beat out John Cena for a period. He was anything but CM Junk."

Even with the switch over to the octagon, Punk hasn't completely ruled out the possibility of one day returning to the squared circle. With newly debuting WWE wrestler Samoa Joe lined up for a match at the Absolute Intense Wrestling event, Punk participated in a fun exchange of tweets with AIW co-owner John Thorne before the match. According to Sportskeeda part of the joking conversation went like this:

"He (Thorne) would cancel Johnny Gargano from the show if CM Punk willingly came out of retirement to face Joe at the show. Punk replied with a simple "How much?". Which prompted AIW to post a tweet, again joking that they'd need to crowdsource to afford CM Punk."

Do you think CM Punk will wrestle again one day? How do you think Punk will perform in the UFC? Tell us your thoughts below.
