Tonight, The CW’s adaptation of the DC Comics/Vertigo book, iZombie is all new. Last week the network aired the Season 1 finale of iZombie’s lead in, The Flash. Now, many are wondering if the show can hold its ratings without The Scarlet Speedster leading the way.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of iZombie, titled “Astroburger,” reads:
“Someone close to Major dies of an apparent suicide, so Liv consumes the victim's brains to learn more and the result is a mix of reality and paranoia. Meanwhile, Clive questions Major and learns of a secret computer file that may help find the killer.”

The ratings for last week’s episode dropped only slightly last week, with 1.50 (viewers by the million) from 1.70 the week prior. However, the dip was enough to make a series low, with the second lowest being May 5th’s “Dead Air,” which brought in a only 1.62.
The series has was the premiere episode, which earned 2.29, followed by the second episode which brought in 1.99.
This week’s episode is the first one, without The Flash as a lead in. Can the show survive without The Flash? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section at the bottom of the page.
