Toymakers Megahouse and Hobby Japan are combining to produce a new anime out of their line of fantasy figures, Bikini Warriors. According to reports, “a slate of notable artists” will work on the series.
The characters in the series are the stock medieval characters -- Fighter, Paladin, Mage, Dark Elf, Hunter and Valkyrie.
Fighter is the expert in melee. Although she fights in a bikini, she overcomes her opponents with muscle and will. The character was designed by manga artist Hisasi, who also designed the character Cute Devil Girlfriend.
Paladin was designed by Onigiri, who was responsible for the character design of Alice Soft. She is a knight and uses her weapons to save the weak. She has acquired a number of enemies and constantly has to be on guard. She also has trouble identifying with the commoners because paladins are of noble birth.
Mage is not a melee combatant. Magic is her thing. She is also really bad at communicating and was designed by Saitom.
Dark Elf can use melee weapons and magic but is not a master in either. She is quite adept with her hands and has very good hearing. She was designed by Oda Non.
Hunter is proficient with the bow and arrow and is a bit of a throwback. Modern tools baffle her. She was designed by Rei Hiroe of Black Lagoon fame.
Valkyrie uses a spear but can do much more. The limits of her powers are unknown, even to her. She is designed by the character designer of "Shining Hearts," Tony.
"The setting is a an RPG-style world with swords and magic, where adventurers form a party to challenge the demon king's right to rule," the show's official website stated. "But, the adventurers all have beautiful breasts, enormous breasts, and bikini armor!"
