After making a fool of herself a couple times in public last month it's being reported that Jessica Simpson's husband, Eric Johnson, is very near divorcing his Daisy Duke wearing wife. According to the latest gossip news updates, the clothing mogul is scaring her former NFL playing hubby into thinking about taking drastic measures, but Ashlee's big sister reportedly has a secret weapon up her sleeve. Word has it the Johnson is desperate to have another baby with the Instagram bikini model, and the Dukes of Hazard sex-symbol thinks that getting pregnant with another one of his babies may be just the thing to save their marriage and her net worth from a disastrous split.
With a net worth said to be right at about a billion dollars and body that is the envy of the sighted world, a marriage with Jessica Simpson isn't something that you just walk away from, but Eric Johnson is said to be at the end of his rope all the same.
A source claiming to have all the inside details told the less than reputable National Enquirer that the pro-footballer fears that his wife supposed dependency on weight loss drugs and alcohol have him looking for the door:
"Things reached a climax in early May, when Eric told Jess he's had enough and issued his ultimatum.
"Go to rehab or I'm out of here -- and taking the kids with me!
"She can't be in denial any longer about the toll that her problems have taken on her marriage, or she could lose her husband, her children -- and her money!"
The behind-the-scenes insider that Life & Style spoke to for their May 25, issue claimed, however, that Jessica had a plan to get things back on track be cleaning up and getting pregnant:
"He's been wanting another baby badly.
"Jessica's giving in, hoping one more baby will save their marriage.
"I wouldn't be surprised if they're already trying!"
According to the informant, Jessica may act like she is really making some big compromise by agreeing to have a third baby after all her weight loss troubles from her first two pregnancies, but the simple truth is that she too desperately misses taking care or a newborn:
"Jessica's seeing how fast her kids are growing up and it's making her sad, longing for another baby."
While it seems pretty hard to believe anything that comes from the pages of the Enquirer, Jessica Simpson's seemingly intoxicated interviews warrant some sort of explanation if you don't want the tabloids to just invent their own.
