New K-Pop Monsta X Release New Album 'Trespass,' Rookie of Year Award 2015?

Starship Entertainment unveiled its new creation and they are boy band Monsta X. In the world of K-Pop, bands are created by the record labels. The members of the band, those lucky enough to be picked, are trained, groomed and, when they are ready, are fitted in with similarly stylized members and another K-Pop band is born. Sound contrived? A wee bit. But their recent album, Trespass, may prove differently. In fact, they may be elligible for 2015's Rookie of the Year Award.

Monsta X is a bit different in that for their debut the members wrote all but two of the songs on their debut CD. The group is Starship Entertainment's second male K-Pop group, following after Boyfriend, who debuted in 2011. Some members of Monsta X debuted in the pre-debut group NuBoyz under sub-label Starship X.

May 7th of this year, Starship Entertainment released a video for the band's first album Trespass. Along with the involvement of Monsta X, Trespass included such popular Korean artists like Mad Clown, Rhymer, and SISTAR's Dasom.

Two songs from the album, "No Exit" and "Interstellar" featuring Yella Diamond, were previously revealed on the survival show, No Mercy.

"All the members have such strong characters of their own that we could call ourselves the Avengers" said Monsta X (via Kpop Starz).

Monsta X had already began to make a name for themselves and gained a fan following from the Korea TV show No Mercy, where they performed as well.

The band unveiled their grand ambition as well. They are not content with just making a few records, making a lot of money and then riding off into the sunset. They are hoping to make a significant enough impact to win the year-end Rookie of the Year award. In a scene where there are new bands almost daily, it is a grand ambition and definitely speaks volumes about Monsta X's determination to hit the big time
