Tonight, Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World is back with the forth night of the five night What in The World is Happening Premiere week event. Tonight, Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) meet Mr Feeny (William Daniels), with Cory (Ben Savage) and Shawn (Rider Strong) along for the ride.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Girl Meets World, titled “Girl Meets Pluto,” reads:
“A time capsule that Cory, Topanga and Shawn buried 15 years ago in Philadelphia is dug up, which prompts the kids to create and bury one of their own.”
Recently, Ben Savage spoke to Vulture about how long the new show will last and what his life plans after the “World,” ends:
“We’ll take this ride for as long as it goes, and we’ll see what comes next. I definitely want to continue directing, I want to continue producing. I really do like working in the vehicle of kids television, because there was a phase of sitcom TV which was just snark. And I hate snark. It doesn’t inspire people. I want to make TV that makes people laugh.Networks were trying to be edgy, and it wasn’t good. It didn’t work. People -- networks and everyone -- have to just accept themselves for who they are, and then they can be great.”
