Disney Channel’s Girl Meets Worlds is back every night this week with all new episode. The official Season 2 premiere kicks off tonight. The recent episode “Girl Meets Demolition,” guest starring Jessie’s Debby Ryan, was technically not part of either Season 1 or 2. Recently, Rowan Blanchard and her TV father Ben Savage opened up about how long the show could last and what kind of stories they will tackle.
The official plot synopsis for tonight’s Season 2 premiere episode of Girl Meets World, titled “Girl Meets Gravity, reads:
“Season 2 begins with Riley and Maya anxious to begin eighth grade and have a new teacher who isn't Riley's father. Meanwhile, Mrs. Svorski asks Topanga to take over at the bakery.”

With Season 2 beginning, fans are wondering if the show go on to last as long as its predecessor (7 seasons), and if it will handle more adult themes as the kids grow older in the same way as Boy Meets World did. In a recent interview with the Associated Press, Rowan Blanchard opened up just that (via Yahoo TV):
"At the end of the day we want to be the show that tells real life. If that time ever were to happen I think we would be the show that would do it. I don't want to make any promises but (creator, showrunner) Michael (Jacobs) is very, very passionate about writing real life."
Ben Savage also went on to discuss the types of topics the show will deal with:
"We want to cover episode topics that kids deal with. I will say that we're covering topics about relationships and religion and family life and love and marriage and divorce and parenting so we're really covering a wide array of issues that kids deal with."
Be sure to tune into the all new episode of Girl Meets World, tonight at 8:30 p.m. eastern, and every night this week on The Disney Channel.
