Spoiler Alert: If you thought your family dinners were awkward and uncomfortable, think again. You don’t know awkward until you are forced to eat with the people who killed your mother and brother, while being served by the your former brother, who you think killed your two younger brothers. Confused? Well you wouldn’t be if you watched this week’s episode of Game of Thrones. Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) was reunited with former Stark family ward, Theon Greyjoy/Reek (Alfie Allen), in one of the most uncomfortable scenes in Game of Thrones history. Now, Alfie Allen is opening up about having to film the tense scene.
Alfie Allan has now opened up to TV Guide about how much fun it was filming the incredible tense scene:
"It was fun shooting the scene because there are so many different motivations in the room at a time. It was was interspliced with bouts of spontaneous laughter that day to deal with the intense emotions."
Allen went on to detail those emotions:
"Ramsay will possibly lose his lordship. That's what I mean about there being so many different motivations going on in that room at that point in time. There's Roose needling and refereeing the whole thing and then Ramsay being poked and prodded by this news of the pregnancy. And then you've got Sansa poking and prodding him with that. And then you've got the wife Walda Frey there in the room being kind of funny, and then you've got me sort of shivering in the corner."
The meeting could have been worse. Sansa could of started singing about lazy Theon is:
