May will be raining men and music and, if you're a fan of K-Pop, this is your lucky day. K-Pop idols Big Bang, INFINITE and BEAST have all announced that they intend to make a comeback or, at least, try.
Big Bang looks to recover some of the magic its three year hiatus has caused. The YG Entertainment's male teen idols will release a series of "Made" singles from May until September. The group will anoint the project by releasing two singles, "Loser" and "Bae Bae" on May 1st. Founded in 2006, the predominantly hip-hop oriented group had several chart toppers early but still was looking for more. The perils of rock grabbed him for little while and will ultimately. The band would re-emerge from a hiatus in 2011 to go right back into another.
Rivals INFINITE are a bird of a different variety. Their leader Kim Sung Kyu is set to release an album, his first as a solo artist. Titled 27, the songs are very personal in nature. No release date has been set as of yet.
Beast's singer Jang Hyunseung will also release his first solo album on May 8. Titled I'm the First, it will be the singer's first project since his stint in the band Trouble Maker.
One other notable release is the long awaited debut of Pledis Entertainment's newest boy band Seventeen on May 2nd.
May has a lot in store for fans of K-Pop, especially those of boy bands. Big Bang is getting back together, and the singers of BEAST and INFINITE are releasing their first solo albums.
