Do You Want To Be a Pokemon Master? Apparently You Can!

If you ever had a secret desire to be a Pokemon Master, this story is for you. Your dreams of Poke glory can be fulfilled after all. Se Jun Park just won the Pokeman Video Game World Championship, Master's Division (and you thought dreams didn't come true).

From Kotaku.com comes the story of a boy named Se Jun Park, who knows how to wage a battle in a game that the entire country of Japan takes very seriously.

"People often ask me for tips, but I believe, rather than aim to win a tournament right from the start, if you don't give up even if you lose, and understand why you lost and what methods there are to become stronger, and are able to find you own way, you can eventually become a champion," he told the publication.

Park is not only set to try his hand in the Korean leg of the Pokemon game but is also hoping to represent his home country in the world championships. A quick search on the internet reveals a vast network of tournaments, instructional classes and even scholarships so that you no longer have to pretend you are Ash Ketchum with Pikachu riding shotgun — you can now live the dream.

Se Jun Park is living proof of that. He proved that even in a card game, being your own person can get you far. A self-admitted lover of cute Pokemon, Park relied on the effervescent Pachirisu and a well thought out plan of attack to get the job done and take home the big prize.
