Taylor Swift Boyfriend Calvin Harris Comforts “Black Space” Singer as ‘1989’ Tour Nears? [DATING NEWS]

Country music maven turned pop superstar, Taylor Swift, is reportedly having a difficult time adjusting to the recent news that the mother, Andrea, has been diagnosed with cancer. According to the latest gossip news updates, her new boyfriend, Calvin Harris, has really stepped up to help the "Black Space" starlet through this trying time. It's said that Swift didn't really know what to expect out of her new beau since they only recently started dating, but the EDM DJ has been right by her side whenever she's needed him. At least, Taylor will be able to put it in the back of her mind once she's out on her 1989 World Tour in a few weeks. Word has it that the North American run is already so popular that the tickets are selling at 100 percent over the original retail price on many secondary markets.

During her meteoric rise to fame and fortune, Taylor Swift's mom, Andrea, has been her rock, so her recently being diagnosed with cancer has very understandably said to have hit her daughter like a hammer blow.

A source close to Swift, reveals that, thankfully, Taylor has had her boyfriend, Calvin Harris, to lean on during this harrowing time in her life.

The insider explains in the May 4, issue of OK! Magazine, that Taylor was unsure at first, but the Scottish DJ has proven to be a real help:

"Taylor hasn't been with Calvin for long, so she had no idea what to expect from him, but he has been incredible -- bringing her comfort food and holding her while she cries."

Apparently, Calvin's recent standup behavior has convinced many of Swift's friends that this boyfriend may work out better than Taylor's past lovers:

"He's stepped up to the plate and is proving to Taylor that she made the right choice by letting him into her life."

The fact that Swift is once again off the singles market definitely hasn't hurt the ticket sales of her upcoming 1989 World Tour.

The financial wizards at Forbes report that Swift's concert tickets are demanding more money than ever before on the secondary markets through which many fans are forced to purchase their seats:

"The average secondary price for Taylor Swift tickets over her five-month 1989 Tour through North America is $315.41.

"Swift's exorbitant ticket average trumps that of her previous two tours on the secondary market, with her Red Tour averaging $171.19 and Speak Now Tour owning a $177.73 average."

While the article points out that a ticket to see Swift at the Los Angeles Staple Center in August will cost you more than $529 on average, there are more affordable venues in the country if you are prepared to travel to few out of the way places where the people are probably outnumbered by their pigs:

"Her stop at the Fargodome [in North Dakota] currently owns a secondary average of $154.40 and the get-in price starts at $38.

"Her Iowa show sees a $189.19 average and $88 get-in while Louisiana's stop averages $199.11 and the cheapest ticket is $55."

Sadly, Taylor and her sick mama won't see one dime of that extra tour money.
