There has been a new update on the long awaited Pirates of The Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales. Jerry Bruckheimer has tweeted a new picture of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow from the set of the new film. This is good news that the project is back on track after being delayed to 2017.
The production of the, long awaited, fifth film in the franchise has been plagued with problems from the beginning. The movie was originally scheduled for release this summer, but was delayed because of reported script problems.
At the time, Disney's production president, Sean Bailey spoke to Deadline.com about the delay:
"Like audiences around the globe, we have high expectations for Jack Sparrow's next adventure and we want to have all the right elements in place. We're not there yet and we want to make sure this project is everything these wonderful characters and, of course, the fans deserve."
Latter a reported injury to Johnny Depp’s hand, delayed production even longer.
