Nick Cannon has been insisting that he and soon-to-be ex-wife, Mariah Carey, will remain friends long after their divorce is finalized, but it looks like the America's Got Talent host might not be sold on the whole idea of splitting up in the first place. According to the latest gossip news updates, Cannon recently claimed that he would possibly be up for getting back together with the "Hero" starlet in the future in she would have him. After the story broke that the Rockefeller Center Christmas crooner's own longtime publicist has also recently left her, the jilted "Always Be My Baby" singer may even be desperate enough to consider reconciling with her Wild n' Out husband, despite the rumors that he's been dating everyone from Amber Rose to Nicole Murphy since deciding it was time to split with a significant portion of her hard earned net worth.
Nick Cannon has been openly critical of the tabloid media's trying to turn his divorce from Mariah Carey into a public free-for-all as of late -- telling E! News that it was hard not to take things personally at times when he has relationships with so many of the publications trying to embarrass him and his family:
"I'm so disappointed in the media.
"It's funny, even to see people that I know and respect kind of report rumors and just ridiculous stuff that comes from nowhere...You could have just called me and asked me."
In fact, Nick isn't even sure that he really wanted to go through with the divorce when a TMZ camera man recently asked him point-blackly if there was a chance he and Mariah would considered reconciling:
"Ah man, yeah...never say never.
"I may get back in."
While Nick may be having a change a heart, Mariah's publicist of the last decade-and-a-half, Cindi Berger, has reportedly ended their relationship without looking back.
A source close to Cindi insists in the April 20, issue of Life & Style Magazine, that Mariah practically forced Berger to cut her off by approaching her upcoming Las Vegas residency with the same kind of professional passion that she brought to last winter's disasterous world tour:
"No one is taking Mariah
"She's not taking care of her voice...All she says is, 'It will all be fine, darling."
Perhaps, Mariah is just planning to pay people to sing for her once she gets to Nevada.
