Tonight Fox’s hit Batman prequel series, Gotham is back and with the first of the final episodes of the first season. Big things are coming to Gotham City, including birth of the Riddler, Heroes star turned villain Milo Ventimiglia, and Bruce Wayne trying to avenge Alfred, and take on the darker side of Wayne Enterprises. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s all new episode of Gotham, titled “Beasts of Prey,” reads:
“Gordon and Bullock investigate a cold case involving the Ogre, a serial killer; Fish plots her escape from the Dollmaker; and Bruce and Selina confront Reggie.”
Showrunner Bruno Heller recently opened up to TV Line about young Bruce Wayne’s journey to uncover the truth about Wayne Enterprises
“As much as Alfred wants to stop that journey, Bruce is going to discover something about his family that is earth-shattering, really.”
Tonight’s all new episode feature the debut of Milo Ventimiglia as the lady killer Jason “Ogre” Lennon. Heller went on to discuss how The Ogre will move in on Jim Gordon's ex:
“It’s really a kind of perverse love story, between [Jason] and Barbara (Erin Richards) -- and Gordon is hot on their trail. We discover some very creepy things about [Jason] and Barbara, and Gordon is forced to make some very tough choices.”
