Winter is coming, eventually. Maybe even tonight, during the tonight’s Season 5 premiere of HBO’s Game of Thrones. The new season starts tonight, but Saturday Night Live treated us to a special sneak peak (of sorts) last night when they parodied the show as it would be directed by Boyz N The Hood director John Singleton. The “black” Game of Thrones parody featured Ghostbusters Leslie Jones, alongside host, Empire Cookie actress Taraji P Henson and GoT’s own Jaime Lannister, Nikolaj coster-Waldau. The official plot synopsis for tonight’s Season 5 premiere episode of Game of Thrones, titled “The Wars to Come,” reads:
“In the Season 5 premiere, Varys struggles to convince Tyrion to think outside the box while discussing a potential occupant of the Iron Throne. Meanwhile, Stannis leans on Jon to secure loyalty from a rival; Daenerys ignores tradition to remain on her progressive path; and Cersei and Jaime try to move on from Tywin's demise.”
Besure to check out the all all new episode Game of Thrones, tonight at 9:00 p.m. on HBO.
