David Duchovny Denies Dating X-Files Girlfriend Gillian Anderson; Tea Leoni Still Loves Californication Ex-Husband? [TV SHOW NEWS]

Ever since it was announced that David Duchovny and his Madame Secretary wife, Tea Leoni, had were officially divorced, rumor that he is dating his X-Files co-star have been reaching a fever pitch. According to the latest gossip news updates, Californication womanizer claims that outside of the TV show and movies they've made together , his relationship with Gillian Anderson consists of nothing more than sharing emails. Word has it that despite dating her co-star, Tim Daily, Leoni still claims to love her Aquarius ex-husband, even if she sometimes wants to "throttle" him.

For decades fans of The X-Files have been near desperate to believe that in addition to the answers being out there, the TV show's stars should start dating and making little FBI Special Agent babies.

So, when David Duchovny's divorce announcement was followed by the news that X-Files was returning to television less than a year later, it seemed a logical leap to assume that the pair were returning to the show that brought them together, because they were now very deeply in love.

During his interview with the NY Times earlier this week, however, David admitted he and Gillian were much more like pen pals then they ever were anything like lovers:

"Gillian and I have an email relationship.

"I maybe see her once or twice a year.

"Maybe, if we do a convention -- well, I've done one.

Although they are divorced, ex-wife Tea Leoni explained that she still has a special spot in her heart for Duchovny, even if are times when she'd like to kill him (via Daily Mail):

"On occasion, I want to throttle him...But in any real relationship with someone you love, that's true."

Of course, the Madame Secretary star, who has been publicly dating former Wings actor Tim Daily since December of last year, admits that when she was married to David things were quite a bit more confusing than they are in retrospect:

"Fear is terrible. I don't want people to judge me and find me wanting.

"I spent some time in my marriage being fearful of how it would go, or end, or not end. I didn't know what I was doing."

And best of all...the divorce has been the best thing that ever happened to their careers.
