It is bad enough that I.S.I.S. has taken over the town that served as the set for Tatooine in the Star Wars film franchise, but now they are reportedly taking our jobs. A young man was allegedly fired from Home Depot recently for showing another employee his ISIS lip tattoo. However, his tattoo was not a sign of love or allegiance for his the new terrorist overlords of Tatooine, but a misguided show of affection for his, now, ex-girlfriend named after the Egyptian goddess.
Getting a tattoo of your significant other’s name might be one of the stupidest things you can do. It gets even dumber if your significant other happens to share or his or her name with a terrorist organization.
Kirk Soccorso, a New York man, was recently fired from his job at Home Depot for, according to him, showing off his Isis lip tattoo. Aparently, Soccorso, was not aware of the I.S.I.S. acronym, until he overheard a fellow employee saying the word.
At that point the young man decided to show off the tattoo he got on the inside of lip, bearing his ex-girlfriends name, Isis.
Kirk Soccorso was later fired from his job.
Soccorso spoke with CNN News affiliate News 12 Long Island about the experience”
“I feel a little lost. It was a good paying job.”
CNN is reporting that Home Depot released a statement claiming that Kirk Soccorso was not fired because of the tattoo.
