From the outside looking in it might seem like the violence in Season 5 of Mob Wives if completely reprehensible, but the cast of the VH1 reality TV show certainly don't see it that way. According to the latest gossip news updates, Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano have no problem explaining away the physical altercations with Philadelphia based co-star, Natalie Guercio. Word has it that Karen G is already telling people Natalie was fired on Twitter, and the Guercio seems to have even confirmed as much on Instagram.
While some might argue that getting in a fist fight with someone over their expressing an opinion other than your own is as immature as it is illegal, the cast of Mob Wives see the never-ending cycle of violence as holey necessary given their regard for personal respect.
In a recent interview on HollywoodLife's podcast, longtime cast members Renee Graziano and Karen Gravano did their best to explain why they saw the fighting as an inevitable part of dealing with people like Natalie Guercio:
"She goes and says something very stupid to me...I find it very disrespectful.
"She just was disrespectful to somebody I was with. One little word turned into a whole season of disaster.
"Her mouth is more vicious than anyone's mouth I have ever encountered!"
Karen added that in their minds they really aren't left with any other choice when some connected outsider from Philly rolls into town talking smack about everyone's family connections:
"We're very passionate about our families and certain topics, and then you have someone coming in who's going to keep disrespecting that and pushing to the limit.
"On our show, there's a lot of tension, you have a lot of strong-minded women, then you have instigators that want to come on and none of us are really going to tolerate that."
Not waiting for Renee's sister and executive producer, Jennifer, to officially give her the boot, it seems that Natalie has taken the hint -- cryptically announcing on Instagram yesterday that she is more the happy to move on with her life without being constantly surrounded by negativity:
