George Clooney Wife Amal Alamuddin Fighting with Angelina Jolie; Batman Bestie Talks New Baby [LATEST NEWS]

Despite their shared background in international humanitarian work and the fact that their husbands have been friend since staring in Ocean's Eleven, Angelina Jolie is said to still be feuding with George Clooney's new wife, Amal Alamuddin. According to the latest gossip news updates, Mrs. Batman has been trying to make amends with the Brad Pitts' old lady, but she would reportedly rather talk smack behind the London lawyers back. George's bestie/business partner, Rande Gerber, claims that Amal and his wife, Cindy Crawford, are finally getting along like peas and carrots. The Casamigos tequila brand co-founder also talked about the odds of the ER actor having a baby now that he's finally gotten married again.

Now that George Clooney's bright new wife is going to by guest lecturing at Columbia University in the spring semester, it was rumored that Amal also wanted to use the opportunity to get to better know Angelina Jolie, but the apparently just isn't going to happen.

One source close to the behind-the-scenes action revealed in the March 30, issue of OK! Magazine that Angie is not so politely ducking Amal's dinner invitations -- hoping Alamuddin catches the clue sooner rather than later:

"Amal got Angelina's information and reached out to her twice, but she never received a response.

"Amal was actually quite shocked by Angie's rudeness and lack of consideration."

According to the spy, Angie wants to be Alamuddin's friend but can't get over how tedious it can be to carry on a conversation with her:

"It's not a very well-kept secret that Angie finds Amal annoying.

"She respects the works Amal does, but it's all she ever talks about -- it gets boring."

Jolie may have her issues getting along with Clooney's new wife, best his best friend and business partner, Rande Gerber, told E! Online that she and his wife, Cindy Crawford, get along a couple of old friends:

"They are very compatible...Both strong, intelligent, committed women.

"It's like breakfast at George's place, lunch at mine.

"It feels like one big party."

Not only is Rande Clooney's business partner and best buddy, he also lives next door to George in Mexico, so if anyone would know about Batman's baby plans it would be Gerber, who says his friend would make "great dad", but Crawford's husband claims it's still all up in the air:

"I don't know if he's going to be or not."

Maybe Angie and Amal can work things out when they both have motherhood to bond over...if that day ever comes.
