Princess Kate Middleton is now far along in her second pregnancy, which might explain some of the gossip surrounding the duchess. According to a new report, the pregnant princess may be keeping Prince Charles from seeing baby George, as Kate Middleton nears her due date.
It seems the closer Princess Kate gets to her second child's due date, the more vicious the media becomes in their coverage of her.
That's certainly how it seemed this week, when the U.K.-based publication Daily Mail suggested that Princess Kate's family may be keeping Prince Charles from spending time with Middleton's first child -- Prince George.
According to the publication, Prince Charles is really suffering from not being able to see his grandchild:
"The pain for the Prince of Wales must be considerable...As [Carole and Michael Middleton, parents of Kate Middleton,] play a major role in the upbringing of the soon-to-be 20-month-old future King George, Charles complains that he 'almost never' sees his grandson."
Of course, the publication does little to support their theories.
After all, Prince George has been traveling to foreign destination after foreign destination with his jet setting parents...Carol and Michael are nowhere to be seen on those trips, either.
While the answer to why Prince Charles hasn't been spending time with his grandchild remains unanswered, one thing is for certain - Princess Kate is still making waves for her excellent fashion style, even at 8-months pregnant.
Huffington Post Canada recently took time to praise Kate's most recent outfit, which she showed off at a birthday party in London:
"The pregnant Duchess of Cambridge, who's expecting her second child in April, attended the celebration at the five-star hotel without hubby Prince William, who's currently touring China...the 33-year-old mum sported a pretty floral Erdem dress that revealed her burgeoning belly."
