Lady Gaga, who recently announced that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney finds herself in hot water, as a video emerged of her bodyguard placing a fan in a chokehold. This latest controversy comes after rumors suggesting that Gaga will be pregnant at her wedding hit the interwebs. You can watch the video of the alleged assault below.
Lady Gaga is known for being controversial, however, that usually involves her wacky choice of attire...like, a meat dress that somehow symbolized equality.
But that all changed this week, when a video surfaced of her bodyguard placing a fan into what many have labeled a chokehold. Of course, that term is a bit of an overstatement.
Gossip Cop tells readers that the bodyguard simply refrained an overzealous fan from reaching Ms. Gaga:
"The singer was exiting the building when a swarm of fans converged on her. One young man in a hoodie and backpack got very close to Gaga, and the security professional grabbed him around the shoulders and neck, swinging him away from the star. Then they had a brief stare down."
Luckily, this isn't the only reason that Lady Gaga finds herself in the news.
The A-list singer/actress/little-monster-wrangler generated a ton of press when she announced via social media that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Taylor Kinney.
Reports suggest that Taylor and Gaga will be tying the knot at Lady's mansion in California. As one might expect, the guest list is going to be star-studded to say the least.
According to Daily Mail, both Elton John and Tony Bennett plan on attending the nuptials:
"Gaga, who is said to be eager to tie the knot at her $23 million mansion in Malibu, California later this year, has also started making her guest-list...The songstress plans to invite her good friend Sir Elton John, 67, to the event, as well as Tony Bennett, 88."
What do you think about the latest reports? Will Gaga really be pregnant at the wedding? Do you think Tony will be performing at the nuptials? Did the bodyguard use undue force, or was he justified in restraining the fan?
