‘Arrow’ Stephen Amell Cast As Next Batman By Ra’s al Ghul Matt Noble: New Hiatus Episode Spoilers

Major Spoiler Alert: Last night on Bat….sorry, we mean Arrow. Oliver (Stephen Amell) was asked to take over League of Assassins as the new Ra’s al Ghul, by the Demon Head (Matt Noble) himself. You know, just like he famously does with Batman. Now the show is taking a mini hiatus, but will return in three weeks, same Arrow time, same Arrow channel.

Recently, Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg spoke with E! Online about how Oliver will handle Ra’s offer to make him the next Dark Knight...sorry Demon Head:

"Obviously, Oliver is completely taken aback. It was important to have a different villain this year, someone who is going to be doing something completely different. This year, Ra's is presented as this giant malevolent force but then comes up and basically offers the keys to the kingdom to our hero."

Kreisberg went on to add the effects will Ra’s al Ghul’s offer will play out for the next few episodes:

"What Oliver's reaction is to Ra's' offer, what Nyssa's [Katrina Law] reaction to it is, what everyone's reaction to it is makes up the bulk of the next run of episodes.

"What his answer is and what that prompts all the other characters to do. Nyssa is the heir to the demon, so you can imagine how she feels when she finds out what she would consider to be her birthright is being handed to Oliver. "
