As though George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin don't have enough on the plate having to deal with the constant tabloid speculation that their marriage is headed for divorce as well as juggling their very ambitious careers now their reportedly having to deal with the high-pitched squeal of Kim Kardashian. According to the latest gossip news updates, however, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star wants desperately for Batman's new wife to hire her as an assistant to her international law team. Word has it that the world famous London lawyer has instead decided to ignore the call's from Mrs. Kanye West, while her Hollywood husband has been handling the UK launch of his Casamigos tequila brand along with business partner bestie, Rande Gerber.
When Amal Alamuddin agreed to marry George Clooney she inevitably realized that it would mean having to deal a level of media attention much higher that she had previously been accustomed to, but it is doubtful that she really thought she'd be having to keep Kim K from beating down the door of her law firm.
According to a behind-the-scenes source, Kanye's baby-mama has been blowing Amal's people up in recent weeks in an attempt to get a job from the human rights lawyer (via Radar Online):
"Kim has been telling friends that she has plans to do lots of humanitarian work this year...She wants to follow in the footsteps of Angelina Jolie.
"Despite that Kim doesn't have a law degree -- or even a college degree -- she wants Amal to hire her as a consultant on the Armenia case."
The spy insists that Amal has been doing her best to dodge Kim's calls and emails, but it has done little to dissuade the sex-tape star that she isn't really UN material:
"Kim is eager to smarten up her image: She's planning on visiting refugees from Syria when she goes to Armenia, and she's trying to convince Amal that teaming up is a win-win for both of them."
While Mrs. Clooney has been busy building her case, George has been busy bringing his new tequila to the deserving people of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
The Hollywood icon told Drink Business Magazine that it was his pleasure to be bringing Casamigos to his new home in Britain:
"We are excited to bring Casamigos to the UK.
"It's a great feeling to share something we created, drink and are extremely proud of."
Thankfully, Casamigos is already widely available in the US if Kim Kardashian is looking to drown her sorrows after being professionally marginalized by Alamuddin.
