When George Clooney decided to give up his world famous bachelor status in a Venice wedding last September, the ER actor, no doubt, anticipated that he would have to make some changes to his lifestyle in the future, but chances are he wasn't planning on having to abandon his business partner bestie, Rande Gerber. According to the latest gossip news updates, Batman's new wife doesn't want Danny Ocean palling around with Cindy Crawford's husband anymore. Word has it that the London lawyer is going to be in for a rude awakening if she keeps getting in the way of Clooney and his longtime friends like Anna Kendrick or Sandra Bullock.
For years George Clooney has been known as much for his tight knit group of Hollywood friends as he has his movies, but that could be about to change.
A source close to The Clooneys insists in the March 2, issue of OK! Magazine that Alamuddin has grown tired of spending all their free time hanging out with George's Casamigos business partner and longtime best friend Rande Gerber and is now limiting how often her husband is allowed to see his friend:
"George wants them to become a happy foursome, but Amal thinks Rande's a frat boy who encourages George to drink, and she hasn't clicked with Cindy at all."
According to US Weekly, Amal even has George installing a bombproof panic room in their home in England, so they can safely cut themselves off from the world in a time of crisis.
Whether Amal is really trying to crack down on Clooney's playtime with his Hollywood friends or not, it hasn't stopped him from talking about them.
The Syriana director was recently quoted by Just Jared while explaining that someone like his Up in the Air costar and friend, Anna Kendrick, was a one-in-a-million talent, whose star would shine for years to come:
"There's everything to like about Anna.
"She's wildly talented, smart, and great fun to be around...And she's going to be around for a long time."
At least, once George finally gets that panic room installed in Berkshire, he'll be able to have a drink at home in peace.
