Batman George Clooney and Brad Pitt Breakup after Missing Wedding to Wife Amal Alamuddin? [LATEST NEWS]

In the weeks following George Clooney's Venice wedding to Amal Alamuddin the tabloids all started to run stories that the Hollywood newlyweds were ready to divorce for a myriad of often contradictory reasons, but now the gossip mill is starting to suggest another Batman breakup is just on the horizon. According to the latest gossip news updates, George Clooney's friendship with Brad Pitt is at a breaking point thanks to the Ocean's Eleven besties growing apart over their 14-year relationship. Word has it that tensions reached an all-time high when Angelina Jolie's husband decided to skip the ER actor's getting married to Amal Alamuddin, to work on a project with his own family instead.

Brad Pitt and George Clooney looked to have become the closest of friend after the met on the set of Ocean's Eleven and started making headlines the world over for the boyish pranks they played on one another, but almost a decade-and-a half later the middle-aged leading men may have actually out grown one another.

A source claiming to have intimate inside details regarding their pair's friendship insists in the February 16, issue of OK! Magazine that a few years ago Pitt started to imagine himself a little too mature for his still hard partying compatriot:

"Brad's changed and George hasn't...that's where the issue lies.

"They were a pair of goofballs, always trying to one-up each other...[though now] at times, Brad actually finds George's behavior embarrassing and childish.

"That is something he never thought he'd think."

According to the insider, things practically came to a fever pitch between George and Brad when the Pitts chose to miss the Clooney's September wedding ceremony in Venice, Italy, but they could still get back on track in no time with a little bit of effort:

"Brad's got this holier-than-thou attitude, and George puts him up on a pedestal, which hasn't helped.

"But despite everything that has happened over the last year, George would still love to patch things up with brad...He just has to figure out how."

Regardless of whether Brad Pitt is a little stuck-up or not, the idea that Geroge Clooney is not a serious person is absolutely silly.

Not only has Clooney successfully advocated for political and social change in the world with a boots-on-the-ground attitude matched only by the likes of Sean Penn, the Daily Mail reports that his wife, Amal, is currently petitioning the president of Egypt directly for the release of Canadian journalist, Mohamed Fahmy.

Now, what exactly is supposed to be so childish or embarrassing about all that?
