For those WWE fans out there who couldn't stand the Authority, Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler served as defenders of what was right. Now, however, it looks like Ziggler and Bryan will be facing off against each other at the upcoming WrestleMania. Yes it's true, Bryan, unfortunately, will not be taking up the helm at the main event this year after the hated Roman Reigns took him off his feet at the recent WWE Fastlane.
Daniel Bryan got his start in wrestling in 1999. Right out of high school, he decided to pursue wrestling professionally. He started training at Dean Malenko's wrestling school.
After that, his career took him down many different paths, and he jumped between several different wrestling promotions. His current stint with the WWE started in August of 2010.
All in all, Bryan is one of the highest decorated wrestlers in the league. In turn, many had him picked to take the main event at this year's WrestleMania. However, as is pointed out by the Big Lead, the villainous Roman Reigns managed to take out the people's champ:
"Roman Reigns defeated Daniel Bryan in a stellar match to earn the right to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31 in Santa Clara in five weeks. Though this finish yielded the same outcome as the one WWE fans openly revolted against last month when Reigns won the Royal Rumble, the spot feels much more satisfying now. Over the past several weeks, Reigns grew up in a hurry both in the ring and on the microphone. Though the crowd was overwhelmingly cheering for Bryan to win the match, it did not leave unhappy, and the next five weeks should set up for a much more compelling WrestleMania..."
Now, it looks like crowd will get to cheer for Bryan yet again. However, according to Wrestle Zone, it might be against Dolph Ziggler:
"Following his loss to Roman Reigns at WWE Fastlane last night, backstage word in WWE is Daniel Bryan will face either Sheamus or Dolph Ziggler at WrestleMania 31. Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler makes the most sense here. Not just from an in-ring wrestling standpoint, but mostly from a logic standpoint. Ziggler was the one battling The Authority in Bryan's place while Bryan was out with injury. So Ziggler could use the argument that he should have been Roman Reigns' Fastlane opponent..."
